Enabling Access to Justice and the Licencing of Mediators

We will be hosting a panel discussion on the implications of the Department of Justice's General Authority for the deployment of mediators in legally aided non-family intra-litigation cases.  You can read the General Authority here.

As part of this new directive from the DoJ any mediator seeking to work on such cases must be licenced with an appropriate body.

This event will be an opportunity to find out more on how these cases will be administered, and how mediators can licence with Mediation Northern Ireland.  There will be an opportunity for questions with the panel members.

This event will be held on Zoom on the 11th April at 12:30pm - 1:30pm

The panel for the event are:

Lesley Foster - DoJ Enabling Access to Justice Division
Dr Esther McGuinness - Head of School of Law and Co-Director of the Ulster University Law Clinic
Mary Lynch - Former Director of Mediation Northern Ireland

Please register if you would like to attend this event.
